NIWBG and The Women’s Support Network were at Westminster today for a series of meetings about the impact of the #CostOfLivingCrisis on women talking about our
Women's Regional Consortium NI research.
Thank you to Stephen Farry for a productive meeting to talk about our concerns regarding the Cost of Living Crisis and its impact on women in Northern Ireland - we need to see action both at Stormont and Westminster to tackle this crisis!
Thank you also to Shadow Minister for Northern Ireland Tonia Antoniazzi for meeting with us to talk about the Cost of Living Crisis, the need for a strengthened social security system, and the democratic deficit - among other policy issues that impact on women in Northern Ireland.
Thank you also to the DUP for inviting us to meet with the parliamentary team to talk about the Cost of Living Crisis and its impact on women - we need gendered solutions to tackle a gendered crisis.
